Take Support for Browser or Lose Online Bids!

What is the relation of browser responsiveness and getting preferred or biddable online opportunities, which would require extensive support for the browser if not working to the expectation?
Let’s understand through the following example.

Opportunity cost of an unresponsive browser

If you know how share trading works, you know how crucial time is to make a decision. In one minute the price of stocks you bought can escalate, and in other they can fall to rock-bottom. These days most of the share trading is done online, which makes bidding a function of time even more dramatically. And this is not the only thing which needs your browser to be super responsive; there are various kinds of bidding and investment opportunities of which online users are taking advantage.

You can now figure out how crucial is the quick and responsive functionality of your browser to get the most of the online biddable offers that are time bound and competition intensive.

This is the reason people active in the profession of bidding and trading prefer either to bookmark the websites or save the number of these companies that offer Browser Support- Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Chrome, Safari and others along with other issues requiring technical assistance.

Common reasons of unusual browser behavior

Your browser might not be able to perform as optimally as you wanted it to be because of several reasons, like-
·         Not downloaded properly (or got interrupted due to various reasons)
·         Not installed correctly (some files might be missing)
·         Interference by some plug-ins (causing the browser to appear unusual)
·         Intrusion of malware (meddling with the browser settings or supporting files)
·         Registry issues

These reasons can lead to following issues, such as problems in privacy settings, saving bookmarks and favorites, clearing history, filtering data and others. As a consequence your browser doesn’t function the way it is expected to, and you are stuck with lost opportunities and better bids.

Even the people who know and understand browser may find it difficult to tackle all the issues of browser performance and responsiveness, due to lack of time to devote. This becomes a major reason why people are ready to take browser support from online technical support provider companies like Click4Support!

Tech Support Scammers Continue to Stalk and Harass Consumers (by Click4Support)

Scammers, especially those who claim to be from reputed companies like Microsoft or Click4Support!
They are scary because they contribute to the endless list of tech support scammers who make people feel unsafe. But they are not just scary; they are many things more, as in-
·         Aggressive (like the malware)
·         Frustrated (like all of the users worried from their everyday issues)
·         Pestering (just like ad pop-ups)

Reports of having called by scammers have increased a lot over the years, and it’s good that more and more people are getting aware of this but seems insufficient the way the scammer care getting bolder.

Various users have responded to the popular online magazines that seem to make them aware of the tech scams spike. Fake support schemes seem to have touched many users, some of them are tech nerds and others are innocent. The techie people seem to brush them away as a disturbing fly, but others are not so lucky. They took the most common bait, like “Are facing a problem in your PC,” or “Has your PC gone slow?”

One of the Microsoft’s executive commented on the situation in a blog, saying that the scammers show no sign of slowing down. The blog also informed that the scammers are getting persisting in their attempts in not only making a fool of naïve user but also many small businesses.

Their tactics

·         Aggression

The callers generally try to override the apprehension and suspicion of the people they have called by aggressions, and in the process feed more of these.

·         Half-baked truths

Scammers generally ask to press some combination of keys in PC which can lead to some (known) troubling outcome (which obviously the user doesn’t know). They ask to check Windows log to show you errors (that are of not much consequence).

·         Deception

When the caller tells that he is from Microsoft or Click4Support (leading to Microsoft or Click4Support Scam), he is in the mode of deceiving. The only thing caller can do is to hang up and nothing else.
·         Telling lies outright
If any tech support caller tells you to take a subscription for a year, it’s a lie, because in most of the cases they are not there after that call. What’s more, their services and software (which could even be a malware) are of no worth at all.

In awareness mode

Earlier, companies took these scams as fad and though that it would die on its own. However, that never appeared to be so. Therefore in response to such scams, various companies took steps, like-
·         Microsoft started warning the Windows users, since 2011.

·         U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) came up to watch the trend these scammers followed and filed charges against some of the regular ones.

·         Click4Support launched a campaign against the tech support scamming companies.

Common Email Problems- Know and Cure Them By Following Expert Tips!

Have you ever needed email support?

Well, before this question I should have asked another, which is as follows:

How do you contact your family, friends, relatives, vendor and clients when you have a lot to tell?
The answer is mails, and in digital times it is-- emails.

Everyone among the people has an email account. Some of the accounts are free, provided by the email providers like Google, others are paid for, when the sentiments are business only.

Can you see a problem till now?

Having an email account is not a problematic; it is the security aspect that becomes one, when people choose to ignore as if their email accounts are immune to any kind of intrusion or threat. When hacking and installing malware has become an unavoidable nuisance, one cannot be indifferent to the safety concerns. Some intelligence organization (for its own unfathomable reasons) might even currently be under observing your private mails and chats, if not the black hat hackers.

Now you see the problem; the problem is the commonly prevailing attitude and the threats that are standing to strike the moment you are not careful.

This is when you can benefit from an expert Email Support Provider!

What good such providers do?

Contact your email support service immediately. The moment you are suspicious of an intrusion in your email account, report all the irregularities that you noticed to stop the possibility of any harm that an intruder can inflict. Also, -

·         Keep on changing your password routinely.

·         Include multi-layered security for accessing your email account. It required verification via code sent on your personal phone so that anyone else could not get in.

Moreover, email experts would be able to cue towards some reasons of the erratic email / email server. If you are facing a problem, the reason could also include a backend error. Chances of you being aware of it are very few.

Sometimes, a virus (or spyware) attack can also lead to problems, the only solution to which is a performing antivirus. Spyware are not easy to detect as they are programmed to not let the user be aware of anything and silently passing the information to the hacker. If the antivirus is not strong (or updated) enough, you might not get to know the problem at the first place.

Tech support companies that provide email support can take remote access and run scan performed by some of the best antivirus, revealing the miscreants and giving a rest to the email problems along with the others.

How To Avoid Becoming A Cyber Stalking Victim

Today when everything has gone online, threats and fears also have found their place on the virtual world.  People are being threatened for no apparent reason and receive unsolicited mails, chats and messages on their social profiles or phone number. Their information is stolen by cyber criminals to be inappropriately used. If anyone is dealing with any or all of these activities, he has become a victim of Cyber Stalking.

Being stalked is already a very scary feeling because you don’t know who is following you; what you are dealing with; and what can it lead to. When done online, the consequences can be unimaginable as well as unavoidable.

Following are some precautions an individual can take to not to become a prey to a cyber stalker:

1.       Keep your personal and public email id different and use them as they are meant to.
2.       Unless absolutely necessary don’t give the personal (correct) information on social sites. If you do, there is no need to make it public.
3.       If you are not sure of the privacy policy of any site, better would be to avoid it. For social sites, choose not to publish the photos (as well as names) from which identifying you is easy (or identifying at all).
4.       Keep resetting your passwords routinely.
5.       Consider your privacy as a treasure and give out only what is absolutely required.
6.       Keep a track on how your name is being used (or abused) for that matter. Set up a Google alert of your name, so that every time you name is talked about on the web you know. If you find something unauthorized, request moderator for removing it from the page.
7.       Take only those services that have strict prohibiting policies for cyber stalkers.

If, despite all the above precautions, you are being stalked online, you can do the following:

·         Block the people you are suspicious about.
·         Remove yourself from the web platform for a while, just to ensure that the stalker gets bored while trying to find you and leave the idea altogether.
·         Save the messages and emails as proof of the offense stalker is liable for. Rather than deleting the comments all together, just don’t publish them.
·         File a complaint if you find the stalker publishing negative or inappropriate thing about you on the Internet. You can also ask the moderator to remove it.
·         If the harasser is believed to be in the workplace, let your employer know about it. This would help reducing damage of professional reputation.

Last but not the least is to not suffer in silence or isolation when you receive cyber threats. Friends and family can be a great support if you give them a chance to be one

Resolutions to Make Your PC Safe and Secure

Every day you need to work on your system. When you get tired, you should genuinely give one glance at your system. The way you need to take a break to rejuvenate your mind, your system does as well (even though not as frequently as you do). But what you end up doing is to keep on postponing the maintenance part that can lead to heavy monetary attention in the form of computer repair if not kept in checked.
It is time to make a new resolution!

It is time to pay attention to your system, regardless of the work pressure you and your PC have to endure!
Start with:

1.      Physical Cleaning

The need of this one often gets neglected, which leads to piling up loads of dirt on various important components of a PC or laptop. The only thing needed is brush and a screwdriver to loosen up the screw-bolts to get enough space for cleaning. (However, the inexperience people should be weary of performing this task immediately after reading this post, because chances of opening wrong screw are high).

2.    PC optimization

Second on the list is a routine job like the others. You need to remove unnecessary clutter from your system, accumulated in the form of junk files (temporary and duplicated), useless shortcut of the software you used ages ago, browser history and downloaded files that are of no consequence lying in your hard drive, and overflowing registry.

3.   Anti-Virus installation and routine scanning

Regularly take care of the security features you introduced in your system, like firewall and anti-malware. These two are the key ingredients that contribute to keeping your system away from the dirty activities of malware and black-hat hacker. Keep the firewall feature on by default, and schedule your antivirus for routine scan and virus removal. Whenever something fishy tries to make and entry, the action can be prevented effectively at the very initial stage.

4.    OS / driver / browser / other software update

The last thing that is in your hand to keep your system in the best shape is to keep it updated, be it any software you work with. This will give you the optimum functionality from your system, and you won’t face any difficulty while operating your system.

If you are unsure of doing everything on your own, there are experts available who can help you with the tasks of keeping your system in top shape. Online technical support providers like Click4Support can help you even at the odd hours of the day (that includes night!).

Time for taking a resolution in favor of your computers!

Got a call about your computer? It's a scam.

I woke up one morning with my head buzzing with the workload. And that was over and above, feeding my cat, doing my dishes, laundering the clothes waiting from a long time and babysitting my 5-year old baby.
As if all these tasks were not enough my phone suddenly rang. I was deep in the water mixed with washing detergent, and I felt like swearing when I had to wash (or bathe) to take the call. As I reached my phone, I knew I am late by a second as the call got disconnected.

I stood there waiting, and the phone rang.

I instantly took the call, believing it to be of one of my savior (maybe my maid, or my husband, or my colleague). Alas, it was not.

It was from some tech company, the caller of which tried to tell me that I have a virus in my computer system. Even after the immediate crisis at my end, I couldn’t resist a good laugh. Want to know the reason? Read on.

I have my annual subscription from Click4Support, an online technical support provider. Thanks to them, I rarely have to worry on any issues, be it related to hardware or software. Also, they had warned of various tech support scams that usually hunt innocent PC users. They also told that some of these companies misused their brand name as well, leading to Click4Support scam.

So, coming back to the call, I laughed so loudly (without wanting to do so), the caller from that scamming company hurriedly disconnected it (might be thinking about me as a lunatic!). I had read about such companies; they generally ask for IP address:

·         Asking for your permission to remote access your computer

·         Trying to download malware on your PC in the guise of anti-virus or a product they think would be good for your system

·         Hoping to sell you some kind of maintenance plan / package to cover your security concerns
Well, most of the genuine companies might also appear to do so, but here is a catch: Genuine companies would never call you on their own. If you are caught in any kind of technical mess, how come they know about it? Even if you are facing a problem and somebody called it is sheer coincidence and that too an unfortunate one if you become a victim of scamming tactics.

I was fortunate enough to read Click4Support reviews when I was looking for a company that can help me with my system issues online. And then satisfied by the experience of the other people who experienced their services, I went ahead to seek their services.

You should also do the same, and never get caught in the trap of people reaching out to you telling you that your system is giving you a rough time (even if that is true!).
