If your PC consistently crashes there is most likely a reason behind it.

In this article we will discuss some reason why Windows crash.

Reason 1: Bad memory and Motherboard:  Many crashes that result in Blue Screen of Death occurs because of bad memory or motherboard issue, which means data that should be stored in memory could not be retrieved.

To check the issue, swap in new memory and see if the issue goes away. If it does not and the RAM you installed was correct, the motherboard may be the issue.

Reason 2:  Overheating:   The most common cause of random crash is an overheating computer. It occurs when computer airflow is blocked by a failed fan.

Therefore, it is recommended to never put a laptop on your lap. Instead, use table or a laptop desk that ensure proper airflow.

Reason 3: Corrupt Registry: This is not a common reason for Windows crash, but issues are still possible. A corrupt registry can cause a computer to crash as well prevent it from booting properly.

If your computer is not booting properly, try to run Windows in Safe Mode and run the software from there.

Reason 4: Hard Drive Problem:  Hard drive failure is a cause of boot issues. If your computer is unable to find boot drive but BIOS is properly configured, then your hard drive is having issue. Try to run a free hard drive test to see if there’s any obvious issue or not.

Reason 5:  Virus and Trojan: A virus and Trojan cause harm to PC by corrupting or removing driver, deleting important system files etc.  All these can cause unexpected crashes or freezes.

To avoid such problem download a trusted antivirus and start scanning.
